The challenge
Studios carry heavy lighting loads, dense cabling, temporary set builds and staff who cannot simply walk off mid-broadcast. Escape routes change as sets change, and the assessment has to reflect the building as it is used, not as it was designed.
What we did
Delivered with our sister brand Fire Risk Specialists, studios, galleries and production areas were walked around the transmission schedule, with electrical and set-build risk, escape route availability and evacuation roles reviewed with the operations team.
The outcome
A report issued on a rapid turnaround, with actions ranked by priority and evacuation arrangements written for a building that stays live.
